Without VPN often get long or indefinite connectivity hangs... with VPN seems better subject to how well the VPN is doing. I know this is ambiguous and potentially complicated issue, but it’s the #1 thing preventing me from regularly using the app... it often just takes too long to get the information I want, between fucking with the connection, restarting the app, etc. Should I be getting solid connectivity in the mainland without VPN? If so, I can try to get wireshark tapping in or something to figure out what’s happening. This is mostly on my home WiFi, which is China Telecom in Xiamen, and has been solid with most Chinese apps.
